How many sessions are usually needed?
Some problems are sorted very quickly and only require 1 or 2 sessions. For example, most people will become non-smokers with just one session, and most issues like a fear of flying or nail biting respond very positively with two or three sessions. Other problems like depression may need between three and six sessions.
Sometimes people use hypnotherapy to help them through life changing situations like divorce, separation or bereavement. In these cases there is an open-ended arrangement. Naturally this is just a guide and will always depend on the individual, their own motivation and the nature of the root causes. |
